SOME THINGS BECOME PART OF YOU
It started with my grandmother’s wrist
My grandmother Edith wore a plain copper bangle every day. She’d first put it on for the aching joints in her hands, and after that she wore it while baking on Sunday mornings and pruning her roses in Harrogate, and she never once took it off. “It’s just part of me now, love,” she’d say.
When she passed away, the bangle came to me. It was smooth and warm, worn to a soft glow after forty years.
Then I tried to buy another one
My mum had started to struggle with stiff, sore joints herself, and she wanted a bangle just like Nan’s. But every “copper” bracelet I found was cheap metal with a thin coating. Within a month, the copper on the one I bought her had started flaking off, with grey metal showing underneath. It was nothing like Nan’s.
So I made one myself
I bought solid copper, borrowed my dad’s tools and started shaping bracelets at the kitchen table. They were a bit wonky, but they were real copper, all the way through. Mum wore hers every day, just as Nan had. Then her sister wanted one. Then her friends from church and her walking group. All of them wanted what their mum or nan had always worn.
Finding the right hands
Soon there were more orders than one kitchen table could manage. I wanted my bracelets made by people who truly understood copper, so I went looking for them in India. There, copper has been part of daily life for thousands of years, and in the Ayurvedic tradition it has long been worn against the skin and used for drinking water. I met a small family of coppersmiths whose craft has been handed down through generations, just like Nan’s bangle was handed down to me. The first cuff they sent me felt exactly like hers: solid, smooth and warm.
From one kitchen table to thousands of wrists
Today every Copper&Ease piece is still made by hand in India, but the promise hasn’t changed since that first wonky bracelet: solid 99.9% pure copper, never plated, never coated. Each cuff is designed as jewellery, not a medical aid, and is easy to slip on, even on a stiff morning.
Little pieces. Personal stories.

I bought it hoping it would help with my joints, it did but ended up loving it for so much more. A few weeks later, I bought one for my sister too.

I had a question about sizing and received a clear, friendly reply. It made choosing a bracelet much easier.

Great product, started feeling less joint pain after two weeks.

I bought the bracelet as a birthday gift for my wife. She loved the understated design and how easily she could pair it with her other jewellery.

Wearing it every day now, still looks great. Would buy again.

Yes. Every Copper&Ease piece is crafted in India from solid 99.9% pure copper, all the way through. In India, copper has been valued for thousands of years and is part of the Ayurvedic tradition. That’s why we’d never accept plating or coatings: no flaking, no chipping, just real copper.
Our cuffs are open and gently adjustable, so they fit most wrists, from slim to fuller. To adjust, hold the cuff with both hands and slowly ease it open or press it slightly closed until it sits comfortably, with a little room around your wrist. There’s no fiddly clasp, so you simply slide it on from the side, even on a stiff morning. Adjust it once and leave it; bending it back and forth too often can weaken the copper. Still not quite right? You have 14 days to return it.
In India, copper has been part of daily life for thousands of years. In the Ayurvedic tradition, copper balances the body and, worn against the skin, eases stiff, aching joints, supports healthy circulation and soothes everyday inflammation. Families have stored their drinking water in copper vessels for generations because it keeps the body strong. That’s why so many women in India still wear a copper bangle from morning until night, and our cuffs carry on that tradition as everyday jewellery.
Each piece is made in India, where copper has been treasured for thousands of years, and travels all the way to your door. Delivery is always free and fully tracked, and we’ll email you a tracking link as soon as your order is on its way.
No. Even though your jewellery comes from abroad, all taxes and duties are included in the price you pay at checkout. Nothing extra is due on delivery.
You have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind. Just email support@copper-ease.com and a real person will help you with your return.
No the color won't change, but copper naturally develops a deeper patina over time. It is part of the metal’s character, giving each piece its own individual appearance.
